Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the sports of combat. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her first amateur appearance at 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent right in the first round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and defeated her via unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd took her bout against Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability defeated McGill as she was able to end her fight in the third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Her final fight with Promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she ground-and-pound hit her for an TKO victory in the second round. Her dominance grew and she got a bigger win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the first round and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first big fight. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. The two fighters each received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya after the third round of UFC at ESPN 7. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
