Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 of 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die maker and former factory worker Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone, who was gifted when she was a young child, began in second grade at five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). She was crowned Miss Crawford County, she took part in her first Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone was moved to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt, to take on a job as an actress. In less than a month she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe she spent a full year in Milano and Paris. Stone was however dissatisfied in Europe with the modelling industry and opted to go into acting. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories" it was a film with mixed reviews, at age 20.
