Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - January 19th 2008) was an American film, theatre television, and voice actress. 1 Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and then began to appear in films towards the end of the 1950s. She then appeared in prominent films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). Then, she was in many television productions and was frequently as a guest actor. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, from 1972 until 1978, in which she earned many Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1] and Eugene Pleshette, was born on the 31st of January 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. Her parents were Jewish and children of immigrants from Russia, Austria-Hungary. She was the daughter of Geraldine Rivers, a performer and dancer. Her father was a stage manager at both the Paramount Theater as well as the Paramount Theater in Manhattan.
